This program calculates the spectral variability index for one to seven images . Basically one output image file is created where each pixel is the result of the following:

           DNOUT = (abs(IMG1+1(DN) - IMG1(DN)) +
                                 .
                                 .
                                 .
                    abs(IMGn(DN) - IMGn-1(DN))) * coef
  

Files

This program requires as input one to seven unsigned 8-bit , signed 16-bit , or 32-bit  floating point image files. The output image will have the same bit type as the input image.

 

Parameters

COEF

This parameter is a multiplicative coefficient used to scale the resulting dn. Its value must be greater than or equal to 0.0 and also be less than or equal to 1.0. The default coeficient is 0.5.
