This program generates an output image  file whose DN  values are equal to the maximum DN values of the given input files. In other words, the output dn for any line and sample coordinate is selected as the maximum of the dns in the same coordinate from the input files.

  

Files

This program requires as input two to seven unsigned 8-bit , signed 16-bit , or 32-bit  floating image files. It will produce one output file of the same type as the input files. The following information is transferred from the first input file to the output file(if appropriate):

Image labels 
Mosaic labels
Projection labels
Sonar labels
History   file
