Current version of USGS MIPS is Beta 1996.02.23

- 3.0 MB Unix tar file
- 14.8 MB OpenVMS backup saveset

Please note you may encounter the error, write failed, file system is full when attempting to download these files. If this occurs in NCSA Mosaic then exit Mosaic and set the enviroment variable TMPDIR to a directory with sufficient space. By default NCSA Mosaic uses /temp on Unix systems. If this occurs while using Netscape then set the temporary directory using the Preferences menu item.
