Santa Clara Shaded Relief Images

Shown here are shaded relief images generated using the DEM data for the Santa Clara, California area. The data were acquired with the Bay area DEMs and have the same characteristics (that is, 30-meter resolution and relatively good radiometric quality). As with the Bay area shaded relief images, these data can be viewed at full resolution with or without stereo. The DEM and color coded combination of the DEM plus shaded relief images are not shown for this data set. The main objective of these images is to show the use of DEMs to extract topographic information in the area (for example, surface fractures, folds, faults, and relating to drainage patterns).
